Drew and Stryker wrapping up the 38th week of the year. And a crazy week it's been! The week (show: 9/22) started off with a sick Dr. Drew calling remotely from his home for the first 20 minutes. Drew mustered up enough strength to give support to former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, DJ AM, and the other people who perished in a private jet crash. Shortly later Stryker was joined by the band Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Dr. Bruce. At 1:26:25 into the show Samantha Ronson, taking a break from DJing a T.V. Guide Emmy After-Party, also gave her support to DJ AM and Barker. Moments later at exactly 1:30:10 into the show Ronsen's girlfriend Lindsay Lohan also giving her support.
Then at 1:31:55 Stryker asked Lindsy a unique question that gained national media attention making it the "Most Popular" article September 24th 2008 on CNN over presidential nominee, John McCain's decision to temporarily ban his campaign. Here's how Styker and Lindsay's conversation went:
Styker:"You and Samantha have been going out for how long now?"
Lindsay: *Fake Laugh*
Sryker: "Like 22 years, 1 year, 5 months, 2 months"
Lindsay: "Um, a very long time"
Stryker: "Well good, I hope you guys stay together. You're a very lovely looking couple."
Lindsay: "Thank you very much"
The next day (show: 9/23) Dr. Drew was back in the studio, according to him feeling "like hell." Sryker announced a $1000 giveaway. And guest Twitch never showed.
Still feeling sick Dr. Drew endured another show (show 9/24) in the Loveline Studio with guest Clark Gregg (who arrived late, and left early) promoting his movie Choke. Around 11:45 they gaveaway $1,000 on a match game question about a earlier call from the night.
